SPEAKER_02 0:11

Negative goes to negative.

SPEAKER_00 0:13

Holly hello.

SPEAKER_01 0:15

You move the buttons in the Hankie the Christmas poo.

SPEAKER_00 0:35

You don't you like to pay electricity, don't you? Welcome to Hate Tree to Garage where friends come together to share their love of life, creativity, and everything in between. Episode 51.

SPEAKER_02 0:48

Season three.

SPEAKER_00 0:49

Season three.

SPEAKER_03 0:51

From what I've read, those uh refrigerators don't use that much more electricity.

SPEAKER_01 0:55

I was just going to say I would give a scam. So I I was I was reading an article on it, and they said they put one of those kilowatt things on them. So backstory. I got a free 99 vintage fridge to put in my garage. Um and uh so we were talking about electricity to run it, and the article I was reading said that these old ones, um, while they do run more, they don't use as much electricity when they run.

SPEAKER_00 1:28

I know I had an old one like that for a while, and it ran all the time.

SPEAKER_01 1:32

And that whether it used more electricity or not, I don't know. Well, and I don't see the this one, this one doesn't have a fan. Yeah, it's just got a condenser on the back. There's no fan, it just uses and uh I opened up the fridge when I went on my field trip and it was fucking cold in there. So what uh we need to slide my toolbox over and slide it right back into brand Gibson, uh like the guitars.

SPEAKER_00 1:58

Oh good thing it's not an international.

SPEAKER_01 2:01

So I would totally take this fridge in and swap it. Well, you should have you should have gone with me.

SPEAKER_00 2:08

Oh, was there an international one there?

SPEAKER_01 2:10

Uh Mitch is refinishing. So uh one of Mitch Hildebrand. Yeah, listener. Um, he uh he heard me say on the podcast that or no, he he put out a Snapchat that he's refinishing one right now, bondoing the dents and doing all that shit. And I'm like, man, I've always kind of wanted to do that. And like a week later, he goes, Hey, my neighbor just drugged this thing out to the freaking curb. Do you want it? I'm like, Well, how much do they want for it? And he goes, free 99 on the curb, and uh I'm like, Yes. And then when last night I I sent anybody like, hey, if uh Chris is going out to the shop, have him give me a holler. Um and uh I hadn't heard anything by like nine o'clock, so I sent Mitch a message. I'm like, hey, now Chris is going back out to the shop at this point. Are you up for the night? He's going, Yeah, I ain't got any kids. I'll be out in the garage all night. Perfect. Can I come get the fridge? So you went to see him. He's uh so made a quick run down to Marion and picked that up and uh I was eating it's in it's actually in pretty good shape.

SPEAKER_00 3:23

I went out to eat with the wife. And then we went to Chad's for what 20 minutes, Chad?

SPEAKER_03 3:32

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00 3:32

So she could decide what stain coloring for the entryway cupboard. Cupboards, closets, what are they, Chad? Um bench and closets, yeah, shelves, I don't know what you'd call it, but organizer. Okay, and coat rack and shoe box. She left with Chad's eight-foot tall piece of oak oak that had all the different uh Verathane.

SPEAKER_03 4:02

So I I was trying to think, was it back when uh we stained your table?

SPEAKER_01 4:07

I think so. Yeah, when we got that one long board and we went and bought all the samples at Menard's.

SPEAKER_00 4:15

And so she was looking at that, she's pretty, pretty sure she knew which one. Then she ended up on Verathane's TikTok this morning, and she tells me, I we have I got I I got a problem. I'm like what? Well, I was on your Verathane's TikTok this morning. Yeah, they'll custom mixed like two different colors, two different th stains together. Okay? What's the problem? Decide which one you want and order it. But when you order it, you own it, order enough to do the kitchen too, because you want them all to match. You're not gonna try to get it the the mix back again.

SPEAKER_01 4:58

Oh my god. Yeah, if you had a custom mix twice, that it'll it'll never match.

SPEAKER_03 5:03

Say if if we can at least get an an a general idea where she wants to be, what we need to start looking into old masters.

SPEAKER_01 5:10

Tell her that the uh you have that's what your dad always used for years.

SPEAKER_03 5:15

The polyurethane is a lot better, also. Yeah. And it everything dries so fast.

SPEAKER_00 5:20

Send her a message right now.

SPEAKER_03 5:21

Yep.

SPEAKER_00 5:24

The other day we're driving home, she keeps chuckling. I'm like, what? She goes, Chad's been texting me off all afternoons bored at conferences, and we're trying to figure out the the uh cabinets that. I said, What? I said, she goes, but they're always short answers because he's at conferences. So she's like, it's like six.

SPEAKER_01 5:43

How many conferences did you have? I had one. I had two. You had the same one I had.

SPEAKER_00 5:53

Parents don't care about their kids anymore, or what?

SPEAKER_03 5:55

Uh fourth quarter is always pretty slow.

SPEAKER_01 5:57

Yeah. Fourth quarter is uber slow. Everybody wants that. And we are not a core class. Gotcha. Our classes are not required to graduate. Should be. So I did uh we'd have a better society if they were talk to a um one of my former students who uh he's he's actually the service manager now at uh Bowins. That's an overrated job. So it came with a big enough pay raise that he was pretty excited about it.

SPEAKER_00 6:30

Who which who who's that?

SPEAKER_01 6:32

Eric Silo.

SPEAKER_00 6:33

Oh, did he get it?

SPEAKER_01 6:34

He's well that they were hiring service writer and service manager. Yes, I know he got service manager.

SPEAKER_00 6:43

I know. Well, I didn't know he got it, but I knew they were hiring because I was called.

SPEAKER_01 6:51

Um, so he was pretty he was pretty excited about it.

SPEAKER_00 6:56

But it didn't sound like it was gonna be maybe it was, I don't know. I'll tell you more later.

SPEAKER_01 7:03

That's not something um big deal, but yeah. Um, but while I was in there, because we're switching up our whole schedule at the school at the high school now, we're gonna be running instead of a four-block day, we're gonna be running a six-period trimester instead of a four-block semester. Um, so I was looking at um because oh my god, if you can have less free time if I have to teach frickin' uh eight auto ownership classes, I might go freaking bonkers. So I'm like, I've always wanted to teach an auto electricity class where we get into you know scan tool data and oscilloscopes, and you know, so that when they leave, like, I mean, it takes a while to master an oscilloscope, but at least know how to freaking hook the thing up, get some. And I was talking, and Eric is really good at that stuff. Um, you know, working with CAN bus and hooking up the oscilloscope, getting the day-day ones. I'm like, I really want to start this class, but I go, I'm gonna need some help, and he's like, and I am here for it. He was all of a sudden he was fired up. He goes, Yes, absolutely. Kids need to know that shit. So um, but I had another chapman who was like, Hey, you ever teach CAN bus in class? I said, No, no, it's why not? I'm like, because they can barely turn on the multimeter. If I try to teach them CAN bust, their brains would explode.

SPEAKER_03 8:51

My brother's starting to dive pretty deep into that with his project, too.

SPEAKER_01 8:54

Yeah. Well, now I guess they're a lot of systems instead of you know, like having most of the CAN bus systems now, it's a twisted pair that they run for communication. Now they're switching to one wire that communicates even faster.

SPEAKER_00 9:11

I wish somebody would just bring back just a plain Jane bare bones truck.

SPEAKER_03 9:22

I had just run across a I will not go back to a car, a TikTok.

SPEAKER_00 9:26

Not that, not that bare bones. Okay.

SPEAKER_03 9:30

Ford, and other companies are doing it too, but Ford is kind of going a little overboard where they're uh putting like sensor technology for eyes.

SPEAKER_02 9:41

Oh, I seen that saying TikTok.

SPEAKER_03 9:43

Like you could get into your truck in a panic because you cut yourself or something, you need to get to the hospital, and it wouldn't it won't shift, it won't shift into drive. Yep. Because it sees your pupils are bigger. Yep. Or just not in uh any kind of a a mood or whatever to drive.

SPEAKER_00 10:01

What I have I have started to call at work. Jeep protecting Jeep people from themselves.

SPEAKER_02 10:10

Yeah, Ford put a patent in. They got a bunch of patents for if if your eyes are a certain, like there's a whole bunch of different things they're checking.

SPEAKER_00 10:19

And the next thing is they'll start lobbying that cars without that shouldn't be allowed on the roads.

SPEAKER_03 10:26

They'll take your picture when you get in and it'll scan police records and see if you have a warrant and contact the police.

SPEAKER_02 10:34

Fucking narcs, man.

SPEAKER_00 10:37

Everybody thought sci-fi was cool. It ain't gonna be cool.

SPEAKER_03 10:41

I I'm liking my older stuff right now. Yup. Yeah, I will never have a vehicle that's like that.

SPEAKER_00 10:51

10-4. So Chad, any updates on your projects? We're gonna start the project discussion.

SPEAKER_01 11:01

I was gonna say, we're gonna kind of we're kind of at least. The goal tonight is to give everybody kind of the reader's digest condensed version, and then are we getting back to work?

SPEAKER_02 11:14

That's game plan. Okay. So we're 11 minutes in already. We said we're gonna do a 30.

SPEAKER_03 11:20

So as far as Camaro goes, all I'm gonna do in the uh near future is just get it outside and give it a bath because it's way dirty. Um, I need to figure out if I'm gonna put a big block in it or if I'm going to buy like a whole wrecked like 2020 Camaro and just start swapping parts.

SPEAKER_01 11:41

Uh which could be fun.

SPEAKER_03 11:43

That's sort of where I'm leaning.

SPEAKER_00 11:45

But like axle, rear axle and all suspension and all, or just drivetrain?

SPEAKER_03 11:50

I'm not sure how it would switch over.

SPEAKER_00 11:52

Do they make swap?

SPEAKER_01 11:53

Uh somebody's gotta have a swap kit for that.

SPEAKER_03 11:55

I mean it's for the like the drivetrain?

SPEAKER_01 11:59

Like for the independent rear suspension to go into that.

SPEAKER_03 12:02

It's it's independent rear suspension, so I don't know how much fab it would be with it.

SPEAKER_00 12:06

I don't know if they do that. I know like there's there's the swap in a box, but they're less in it.

SPEAKER_03 12:10

Yeah. Um, I don't know how much of the interior would actually switch swap over because it sounds like the new Camaro Dash is narrower than the old Camaro Dash.

SPEAKER_01 12:20

I don't know if I'd go that far. I think it'd be cool, but it'd be fucking cool. I thought you wanted to drive it. Have the old body with a totally modern interior, it'd be fucking bitching.

SPEAKER_03 12:32

So I say I I have a lot to figure out there.

SPEAKER_01 12:35

People do that with the old trucks all the time.

SPEAKER_00 12:38

Oh, I know. I I and I'm not saying it's not a bad idea. I'm saying I thought you would have driven this summer summer.

SPEAKER_03 12:45

Had the uh rug pulled out from underneath me on a Astro van, found a rust free one, and my uh buyer was out of town. He made arrangements to take a look at it when he got back into town. Got back into town, messaged the guy for the address. Oh, just sold it. Guy gave me cash. Dicks.

SPEAKER_02 13:06

That is dick move right there.

SPEAKER_03 13:08

I have located another one that would be a half respectable replacement for it in that same general area. I just gotta see if it actually works out or not.

SPEAKER_01 13:18

And it's contractor white without the windows.

SPEAKER_03 13:21

So when you bash it against a tree, the glass won't shatter and it has everything done to it that I already planned on doing to it anyway.

SPEAKER_00 13:28

So are we gonna get some free candy magnets?

SPEAKER_01 13:32

And balloons. We gotta have balloons, like the animal balloons. I just put like cheap truck parts on the side of it. Oh, you don't want those kind of people around.

SPEAKER_02 13:43

Free truck parts.

SPEAKER_03 13:50

But really, nothing that's gotta be done in the short term. I'm gonna be a busy, busy boy in the summer.

SPEAKER_00 14:00

Um I I think there's drawers and some cabinets that we should get our tails moving on.

SPEAKER_03 14:13

See, I don't think it's gonna happen during school though.

SPEAKER_01 14:17

That's not that far off though.

SPEAKER_03 14:18

Yeah, we got a month.

SPEAKER_01 14:20

School's out by that's fucking that that fucking that I that realization smacked me right between the eyes. I'm like, holy shit. I got a lot of shit I gotta get done in the last fucking five weeks of school.

SPEAKER_02 14:32

Yeah. If we could measure some night with how many sheets I need, and I'll just go buy the sheets and get them home. Yeah. Cause like like we talked, we're gonna, I'm gonna go buy all pre-finished, and the stuff that's at your house now for three quarter, we'll use for something else. Don't know what, but gun targets. Uh-huh. It's a little too expensive for that. Okay, let me use a sub box for his truck. Uh, I'm thinking maybe I'll make a headboard and footboard out of it. There you go. You know what I mean? Yep. Something like that. You put the eyeballs in it too. Is that beefy enough for you? That's just gonna be the back part of it. Oh, it's the decorative part.

SPEAKER_03 15:15

I kind of want to make a platform bed myself.

SPEAKER_02 15:17

That's what we're gonna make. Like, we're gonna make a platform, but she wants a headboard and a footboard, but she just wants it. She doesn't want box springs, she just wants the platform.

SPEAKER_01 15:25

Yeah, I would I wanted like one of the the platform with those big fucking castle legs. Yeah, you know how you get ADHD and like something's like, oh, I'm gonna do that this weekend. I have no idea what that's like.

SPEAKER_02 15:37

So you like order parts for stuff, and then like you totally lose interest. So I ordered all the brackets to attach like the rails to the headboard and the footboard, so like you could make your platform. I was all excited. I can't get called you, and I'm gonna get that plywood. I'm ordering these parts, and that's as far as that project went.

SPEAKER_00 15:56

You order, you order parts and then not work on the project? What?

SPEAKER_02 16:01

Yes. I'm very good at that.

SPEAKER_01 16:06

I thought that line was pretty good earlier today. Which one? No, and you're like, man, I want one of those. And I looked at you and I'm like, well, get to fucking work. I worked all day as we're all sitting there, as we're all sitting there eating fucking pizza.

SPEAKER_02 16:22

It was it was bruncer. Yeah. Breakfast, lunch, and supper.

SPEAKER_00 16:29

I'll tell you this. We are gonna keep this to a shirt because 5 30 is catching up to me fast.

SPEAKER_01 16:35

Yes. That's when I went to bed last night. Or not went to bed. That's when I finally fell asleep.

SPEAKER_00 16:42

It wasn't 5 30 to get up and watch TV. It was 5 30. I got up, moved a bunch of stuff to the basement, painted the rest of the basement floor, and one of the basement walls that I could get to.

unknown 16:54

I don't know.

SPEAKER_01 16:54

That was today or yesterday?

SPEAKER_00 16:56

This morning.

SPEAKER_01 16:57

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00 16:57

Yesterday I did the other half. I did that too. Both both Saturday ends when I got up early. Look how productive you are when you turn your phone off on a weekend. I told Annie, shut the phone off at 6 p.m. Friday. She goes, What's your plan for the weekend? I said, no phone, no Facebook, no marketplace, no TikTok, nothing. Basically no internet. Other than what's on the TV? YouTube, because we have YouTube TV when I'm not doing something. And I said, I want so night. I want to feel like I accomplished something. And I accomplished several something. So should have got done today. Should have got done to yesterday. And that in even included a nap on the couch with her.

SPEAKER_01 17:46

Single vehicle in your shop that was in the same place it was when I got here. No, we rearranged it all.

SPEAKER_00 17:51

None of them. Well, one of them runs. I guess we figured out the scout.

SPEAKER_01 17:56

Yep.

SPEAKER_00 17:56

Stupid vacuum.

SPEAKER_01 17:58

The flex did run.

SPEAKER_00 17:59

Yeah, it drove itself in.

SPEAKER_01 18:01

The quadruple X flex. I love that name. Dilbert. Dilbert. That's going away. That's going away.

SPEAKER_03 18:12

I'm still calling it Dilbert.

SPEAKER_01 18:13

You can call the trailer Dilbert because that's where those wheels are going.

SPEAKER_00 18:18

We can call it no balls.

SPEAKER_01 18:22

That's what it'll be with the new wheels.

SPEAKER_00 18:24

No. Your old wheels, they might look like dicks, but there's no balls.

SPEAKER_01 18:31

They're rockets, according to Chad. They're rockets.

SPEAKER_00 18:35

Okay. So but no, I got the basement the the util laundry room, utility room, back room, whatever you call it in the basin. Mechanical room. The mechanical room of the basin. I I think I beat the uh the leak around the window. I think TBD. You're gonna find out tomorrow. Gonna find out tomorrow. Maybe tonight. Maybe tonight. Maybe tonight.

SPEAKER_02 19:01

We're supposed to rain like a motherfucker again. Yeah, we're in like a number three for storms and shit again.

SPEAKER_00 19:07

I used the water against itself.

SPEAKER_02 19:09

I think West Delaware should middle school should stop having girls' track meets.

SPEAKER_00 19:12

Oh yeah, you gotta go sit in the rain tomorrow.

SPEAKER_02 19:15

I just I might not make it to that one tomorrow.

SPEAKER_00 19:17

So anyways. So I paint I washed the floor, scrubbed the floor, painted it battleship gray. I really like it. I seal coated the wall two walls. I got everything done except like behind the washer dryer around the electrical box of that. I have totally hydraulic cemented the bottom of the leak the window frame that was leaking. So hopefully it don't leak no more. It did brighten up it, brighten it up in there and have the floor painted. It feels completed. It does it every time. It's one of those, it's one of those uh whiskey or uh moonshine jars. Um got the jib crane up. Operational. We picked the flux motor up with it. Nobody died.

SPEAKER_03 20:16

We were all nervous.

SPEAKER_01 20:18

Not as nervous as Caleb.

SPEAKER_02 20:19

Nobody wanted to get underneath that thing. I was in a cage. I was fucking. Caleb and I were on top of up here when we're installing it. Caleb's like, this is sketchy as fuck. I'm like, welcome to welcome to Heatry to Garage.

SPEAKER_00 20:31

It wasn't that sketchy. It had three clamps holding on.

SPEAKER_02 20:34

Three C clamps holding the I-beam to a fucking skid loader fork.

SPEAKER_00 20:38

From where I looked, it looked like it was level, and you guys were like, Can you go up higher? Yeah, I can go higher.

SPEAKER_02 20:43

It was like this, like the front, it was like just like the way it landed. The front two bolts would line up, but you had to keep going up higher to get it.

SPEAKER_00 20:50

But I couldn't see the back side, the back the other end there, you know.

SPEAKER_02 20:52

That's why I kept telling you to go up, up.

SPEAKER_00 20:54

I thought I'd go up a little bit and roll it down more. Up a little roll it down. Can you go in here? There's plenty more to go. I just but it worked out. It finally got there. So shout out to our buddy Ben. He had knew he's your daddy now. No, no, he's my buddy. I I don't know. I damn near probably uncle status to you now. I mean, I did all the trucking. All the trucking. There and back. See that creature of a forklift I got over there at Rip's towing. It's kind of cool. It's like old school, cool, like 60s forklift. It's around good. But when you see Ben grunting to steer it because the hydrau the steering was out, the hydraulic steering was out. He's like, You can fill it up, it lasts about a day. I'm not gonna take time to fill it right now.

SPEAKER_03 21:48

Is that one of those old school ones that has three pedals for the for going? Has a clutch?

SPEAKER_00 21:53

I don't think it I don't know. I didn't look.

SPEAKER_03 21:56

So some of those old ones.

SPEAKER_00 21:57

It's like a heister or something like that.

SPEAKER_03 21:58

So some of those old ones. Heisters had a regular clutch. So you're you're busy with the feet and the hands.

SPEAKER_00 22:06

We had an old international like that at the marina that was like basically it was a tractor turned around, big counterweight off the back, and then long forks so you could pick boats up and set them in the rack and everything. That was kind of a creature to run.

SPEAKER_02 22:22

Yeah, we got a lot done today. Like this weekend for me, I I got up, went to cars and coffee. Trying to think what is Friday. Apparently people noticed I wasn't there runtime. I spent a lot of time in the hot rod this weekend. I mean that was kind of part of my goal. You had Rockstar parking last night. Fuck yeah. I pulled up to the bar, everybody moved, I could pull park right in front of the door.

SPEAKER_00 22:51

Still didn't see your picture on that wall. You're not that famous.

SPEAKER_02 22:54

I should take I should make I should get a picture. Get a headshot and go in there and hang it up. Stick it on the wall. See if they know. Earlier in the week.

SPEAKER_00 23:05

We should take our trailer shot and we'll sign it. They just start walking in it, frame them, and then have like double-sided tape and just walk them, walk into random restaurants and stick them up and see if anybody notices. I didn't sign an autograph.

SPEAKER_02 23:17

I was out to eat a couple weeks ago. Like was last weekend? Last weekend I was out to eat. Sure, no, sure. I had to sign an autograph.

SPEAKER_03 23:23

Side of the check doesn't count.

SPEAKER_02 23:24

Upper neck area. Oh. Upper neck area. Yeah. I didn't have my marker. I'm gonna I need to start carrying my marker.

SPEAKER_00 23:31

I guess I should have said which cheek, but no, it wasn't a cheek. Last time I saw you sign an autograph, it was a dude's cheek. No, this was and not on his face.

SPEAKER_02 23:39

This is like collarbone area.

SPEAKER_01 23:42

That wasn't dude's cheek.

SPEAKER_02 23:44

That was dude little. It wasn't his cheek, it was his collarbone.

SPEAKER_00 23:49

But the last time I saw him sign an autograph, it was a cheek.

SPEAKER_02 23:54

Yeah. Hey. That'll give the people what they want. There was lots of people looking at you guys weird. There was. After he came in, he's like, dude, can I get an autograph? And he pulls his shirt down, signed it. Everyone's kind of like, who the fuck is that guy?

SPEAKER_00 24:13

Where was this at?

SPEAKER_02 24:14

The Mexican restaurant.

SPEAKER_01 24:18

Josh is like, oh, I should have asked for his fucking autograph. I'm like, go back in and do it. It's like, yeah, everybody's looking at that's like, you got a pen? So Julie's digging in her purse looking for a pen. A marker would have been a lot nicer.

SPEAKER_02 24:33

I mean, the red mark from trying to get the ink to write on his collarbone was probably there longer than the ink.

SPEAKER_01 24:42

It was probably still there when he got it. I told you to keep marker on it to keep a marker on me.

SPEAKER_03 24:47

I don't know if you guys laughed at my meme, but I was pretty proud of making that one. Which one? I came in my pants. I might have missed it.

SPEAKER_00 24:56

I saw it. I'm pretty sure I saw it on Friday. No, would you was that Fri I I have lost time track of time.

SPEAKER_03 25:08

So after after uh you sent the picture of Josh with his stamp from Big G, I sent that to the group.

SPEAKER_01 25:18

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 25:20

Yeah, I saw it on you showed it to me.

SPEAKER_01 25:22

Yes, okay, I saw that one. I thought I I just I didn't know that you made that one. I just figured because I juzzed in my pants.

SPEAKER_02 25:35

Yeah, so I cleaned the garage, got two vehicles in and my tractor in the garage. Took the old lady out for a hot rod rip rip and some supper.

SPEAKER_03 25:46

I had a lot of windshield time this weekend, but nothing fun.

SPEAKER_02 25:49

Nothing fun. That was fun. For sure. I unboxed my brackets for the Jeep today. They're gonna work. That's about as far as that went.

SPEAKER_00 26:02

Unfortunately. It's typical. That's kind of how maybe we we might need Rico to come up here and help us for a weekend or something. I don't know.

SPEAKER_03 26:14

The list of squirrel is a weekend of squirrel syndrome.

SPEAKER_01 26:19

This week was for me was just an absolute shit show. Finally get that cocksucker running. I don't know why you blew it up right away. I mean, y'all beating on it like I didn't blow it up.

SPEAKER_02 26:33

It still ran. Because what night was it that we were at your house looking at it? Monday night? I don't know. Whatever night. Oh, it was Tuesday because I had to leave early the next morning to go to Wisconsin.

SPEAKER_03 26:46

I was saying it was like Tuesday or Wednesday.

SPEAKER_01 26:48

Yeah, it was Tuesday because Wednesday I left for Wisconsin. Came out to pick up Chris to have him take a look, put an ear on it. And we didn't even make it a mile from his fucking house. Low oil pressure light or notification. The dash comes on. Motherfucker.

SPEAKER_02 27:05

I thought it was I get a call from Chris. Hey, you gotta come pick us up. I'm like, all right, I'll get Chad. So I went to get Chad, pick Chad up. We're coming back. I forgot my puffer, had to stop at home for that. On the way home or back to my house, get that. Made a call. Never mind. We're gonna drive it to my house. I'm like, all right, we're heading that direction. Never mind. We're running it back to his house.

SPEAKER_00 27:26

All right, we'll turn around. Well, Geyer comes up the driveway by the driveway. He goes, Well, it's gone this far. I guess we could try to make it back to him. I said that's sure easier than trying to mess around loading down the trailer.

SPEAKER_03 27:36

My only comment was that's typical.

SPEAKER_00 27:37

Typical.

SPEAKER_01 27:39

Okay, and then it was and and that night it was like the oil still looked good. It was like it just had a weird knock to it. And um, and it and Caleb was right. Because I had him listen to it too. He goes, I just fucking run it. If it's something with these eco boosts, it's usually catastrophic right away. Yeah. From the time I had him listen to it to the time it shut down, it was fucking seven miles. It was it was catastrophic right away. Yeah. And so, like when Chris and I run the side of the road, it goes, you know, because it's got the auto start. Yeah. So it did like and then it'd pause, and then it'd do it again, and then it'd pause, and it'd do it again.

SPEAKER_00 28:31

It picked me up and I'm like, that just it it's got a noise, but maybe it's just the the loot, the fuel injectors.

SPEAKER_01 28:39

That was the biggest thing, is like, because it's got the direct injection. And that's loud. Maybe, you know, because I know it's loud.

SPEAKER_03 28:47

And it doesn't sound like a crank to me.

SPEAKER_01 28:50

It sounds we're gonna find out we're gonna pull it apart. We're gonna find out what the fuck happened to it. Then it's either a rod or a crank. I'll almost guarantee it.

SPEAKER_00 29:00

He picks me up and we're going down the ground, which is nice to go.

SPEAKER_01 29:03

Because it got lower. It got louder the lower I went on the engine with the stethoscope.

SPEAKER_00 29:08

Gets goes the mile and a quarter to get back to the black top, and we're turning the torch to head to Court's house. And I freaking put it in the back. Oh, because you were coming to pick all of us up first.

SPEAKER_01 29:22

Yeah, we were all done for her. Because I put it back and put it to the fucking rug.

SPEAKER_03 29:25

It could have been a lot worse. I mean, we could have been all in the vehicle.

SPEAKER_01 29:30

He pulls it. Yeah, holding your fat asses around might have been the end of it.

SPEAKER_03 29:35

You finally took my advice. Hey, just beat on it. You'll find it.

SPEAKER_00 29:40

He pulls it back to sport mode and stomps on it and kind of goes, I'm like thinking to myself.

SPEAKER_03 29:49

That's it.

SPEAKER_00 29:51

I I know it's a Ford, but he was bragging about the acceleration here, and it's not here. But I'm not gonna say anything. Maybe because we're trying to figure out this is what you know, the snug. Well, that time, ding ding! I look over and I see a yellow light, low oil pressure. That's not good. He goes, No, no, it's not, shuts it off, pulls over the side road. We're like, well, it smells a little warm. But there's no like oil running out the bottom or nothing. Pull the dip streak, looks good, it's full. And then that's when the let set for a little bit, then it fired up.

SPEAKER_01 30:31

Started up, and we fucking b-lined it back.

SPEAKER_00 30:34

Here's how much our friend Gyre has changed, though. I'm sitting there, I'm like, well, truck's hook, trailer's hooked to the truck at my house. It's only a mile mile and a half back.

SPEAKER_01 30:43

It's a long fucking walk.

SPEAKER_00 30:45

I'm not walking that far. Like two years ago, you've been like, oh, I'll just run right back. I'll be back in a minute. Not two years ago.

SPEAKER_03 30:52

Give me six minutes, I'll be back.

SPEAKER_01 30:54

Right. I'll run and get the truck back. Before COVID, I would have done that.

SPEAKER_02 31:01

Yeah. Pre-COVID, you would have just been like pre-COVID, he probably wouldn't have had a vehicle.

SPEAKER_00 31:06

He'd just been running on his shoes on his bike. I wouldn't have bought the motherfucker.

SPEAKER_02 31:11

I'd have bought another bike. He would have. You want to buy a bike? I got one I might sell you. Hey.

SPEAKER_01 31:17

I got three I don't ride right now.

SPEAKER_00 31:19

Who wants that trainer? That's sitting in my garage. The red one? Yes.

SPEAKER_01 31:25

Throw it in the scrap pile. Okay. I got a trainer at my house that doesn't get used.

SPEAKER_00 31:30

I just check it before I threw it.

SPEAKER_01 31:31

Two at my house that don't get used. One of them was like fucking Jesus. The cycle ops? I'm not even going to admit how much I paid for that one.

SPEAKER_02 31:43

Oh, you got the you got the real fancy. It was a smart train. Yeah. I got I just got the cyclops.

SPEAKER_01 31:47

I've got that one too. That's the one I started on. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 31:50

That was that the one for me.

SPEAKER_01 31:52

No, I bought mine. Okay. I had the one from Brad. Brad had it. But like the one the one that I got, it was really nice training for that Iron Man because I could load in the whole Iron Man course and I could ride all the hills and it would increase, decrease, resistance, and all that for the whole course. I blew way too much money getting rid of that fucking Iron Man to barely fucking finish it.

SPEAKER_02 32:23

If your friends wouldn't have showed up and told you to quit me in a fucking pussy and keep going, I wouldn't have finished.

SPEAKER_00 32:29

Either of them would have finished. Hey. I thought you were keeping track of time.

SPEAKER_02 32:35

I am. We're two minutes over. The checkout Wyatt's Words golf outing. That is June 13th. All the stuff is on the internet like we told you about last week. So go on there and fill out some stuff. And come join us. There's a new project that you might see at the golf tournament. If you know, you know. If you don't, you don't.

SPEAKER_00 32:58

It might be, there might not, because we got lots of projects. We didn't even list off all the projects. Come to the Patreon and learn more about our projects.

SPEAKER_03 33:06

Lots of projects.

SPEAKER_00 33:07

Last words?

SPEAKER_03 33:09

Let's get back to work. We got some irons in the fire. I'm tired.

SPEAKER_02 33:14

Later.

SPEAKER_03 33:15

Peace.

SPEAKER_02 33:16

See ya. Catch you next week.

SPEAKER_00 33:18

Maybe.

SPEAKER_02 33:18

I won't. I'm a Mexico.
