I know I'm fine. I mean is it rolling? We're gonna put that on your uh performance reveal review for the end of the year.
SPEAKER_05It's fine. We had to wait for Dustin. But he came up short on being on time.
SPEAKER_03Well, technically I'm a whole day late, so yeah, you're still we're all good.
SPEAKER_05I can see over Chris's head, so I changed the uh that better. I changed the layout on my on the control board here, so we'll see if things work or not.
SPEAKER_04Oh now it's not buttons to push.
SPEAKER_05I'll just push all of them and we got all kinds of lights tonight. Oh yeah. Here this might be loud, I don't know. Here we go. Welcome to episode three of Heatreated Garage Trail hated. Um, just to copy those other guys, he, she's, they's, thems, guys that steal t-shirts from companies so he can sleep in them and think about the owner at night. Joining us today, we've got, of course, Big G to my right. What's up? Uh Mr. Hansen.
SPEAKER_01What's up?
SPEAKER_05It still says FSC.
SPEAKER_01FSC?
SPEAKER_05SFC. I can't talk.
SPEAKER_01I don't know how to change it. I've been retired for a while.
SPEAKER_05Hey, you retired that way, you get to keep that. So I do.
SPEAKER_02And retired or retarded? Well, shut the fuck up.
SPEAKER_05And we got uh the most famous one of us all from Rico's garage. We've got uh Rico or Ricky as everybody knows him.
SPEAKER_03Hello.
SPEAKER_05And then, you know, coming up short at the bottom of the pile, our little buddy Dustin. Who was late as you heard in the preamble there.
SPEAKER_01The most hated out of the trail hated group. He might be. Dave, you know you'd love me.
SPEAKER_05I'm working on that locally. Didn't even know I was, but apparently, apparently I'm hard to work with, according to some of the the local uh mall crawler groups.
SPEAKER_04I had to get rid of that group today. She kept tagging everyone, everyone, every and like gone.
SPEAKER_05We'll uh we'll talk more about that on Patreon.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we can talk about that on Patreon.
SPEAKER_05So are you guys gonna talk about the shirt?
SPEAKER_02I did not actually buy this shirt. I bought a packout mount, and I was given the shirt for free.
SPEAKER_05So yeah, and you failed at that job too, because you were supposed to get a third. No, wait, sorry, pack it. That's the that was the oil bottles.
SPEAKER_01He only he only had enough steel to make the two. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05See, Dustin should have checked it before he made promises.
SPEAKER_02I like Dave better, so I get it.
SPEAKER_05We know.
SPEAKER_02Mine should be here Wednesday, I believe. I got OG number one, Dave got number two. Or I got number two, or Dave got number one. I don't I mixed him up when I threw him in the bed of the truck.
SPEAKER_05So, anyways, what are we talking about tonight, guys? Uh, some of us went wheeling, some of us are, you know, still sitting in the garage, some of us just have a pile of parts. Uh, we'll get to that pile of parts in a little bit, but let's start off with you guys went to what is that two weeks now? Three weeks ago now? Two weeks. Yeah. You guys were uh back over to the Badlands. Um, aka the the proving grounds, the test runs.
SPEAKER_02Test run park.
SPEAKER_05So still not a bad park just to get together and hang out.
SPEAKER_02No, it's not a bad park. It really isn't.
SPEAKER_05I was I was bummed I wasn't there.
SPEAKER_01You would have been cold, buddy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, oh yeah. I don't know. I slept pretty fucking warm in the camper.
SPEAKER_03In your custom made bed that was just the right size. About a quarter of an inch too short. We learned on that trip that the dying is a quarter inch shorter than Dustin. But he fit in there just.
SPEAKER_02If I angled myself at like a 20-degree angle, it was just perfect.
SPEAKER_03But he had the heater vent pointed at him, so he was happy.
SPEAKER_05Uh he slept very well. So who's going to first give us their rundown on how things went?
SPEAKER_03Not it. Nope. Dustin, you're up, bud. The trip was your shakedown run, so it's all you buddy.
SPEAKER_05Okay, can you guys still hear us? Yeah. All right, I don't know what happened there. Um, I got a text from about the same time we lost all audio on that. She's Annie says she's got like the hallway light won't turn on um to seem not doesn't have any power. So I don't know if we got power glitches going on around here or what, but so I will do some editing more than I normally want to, and uh, we'll take that little bit of the beginning there.
SPEAKER_01We were three minutes in, we could just start over. Nah, we'll splice it.
SPEAKER_05It's easy to splice it together. Okay. So, Dustin, back to you. You talk about uh your shake your shakedown run at Badlands.
SPEAKER_02Well, car ran real good. Um did the three-length, the full hydro, the coilovers on the truck. Uh took it over bad lanes, cruised around, had a good time. Everything seemed work good. I think I need to raise. I think I need to raise it about an inch or so because high speed to the dunes, it is bottomed out pretty hard. Or just do hydro bumps on it.
SPEAKER_01Well, we also need to look at the 200 over 200. You're not really getting a rate change.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01So you need to drop your upper spring rate a little bit, and then we need to adjust your uh second rate uh limits.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, really just for so you you got 200 over 200 right now, 200 over 200 right now, which I don't know jack shit when it comes to quote.
SPEAKER_05You gotta throw something in there and start. Dave, what's yours at?
SPEAKER_01Mine's 150 over 200, which should be should be about because the same motors. No, my uh I thought you guys were mine's a little bit bigger. Uh I mean that 22R is a two-point, or is it a it's a 24, right? 2.4 liter 2.4, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I'm talking weight wide. I guess I should say same motor, but similar weights. Yeah, the only difference.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I got a hell of a lot more tube in the front end, but he's got sheet metal, it should be really close. Um I should look.
SPEAKER_05I might have some yeah, I think I might have some 150s you could try, Dustin.
SPEAKER_02And for low speed crawling, it seemed to do fine. Um, I didn't hear any complaints from anybody watching me. For high speed stuff, I think I'm kind of with Dave, do like a 150, 175 on the top.
SPEAKER_04So, what do you set it up for up travel and things like that? Uh up travel right now is about two and a half inches.
SPEAKER_01Well, you could stay at it. You need to come up about another inch.
SPEAKER_02You can come up another inch. I set it that way just so the truck is level, matching the rear.
SPEAKER_05Where do you have have your um slider stop set? How high up from at right height?
SPEAKER_02Three inches, I believe.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_01You could and really right now it doesn't matter because he's basically running 28 inch. Yeah, he's running a 28-inch 200-pound coil.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So the only the only thing he you could do is if you raise the truck up an inch and then drop those down a little bit so that when you did hit the big bumps, you hit that coil, you hit that slider stop, then it goes to a full 200 rate. You're not splitting the two. I forget what the math is. There's a there's a calculator because I just had to go through that with that that big blue, blue with all the yellow on it, uh 392 on his skyjacker springs, because luckily uh the it got easier because he decided that he didn't need to carry a spare with him everywhere. So taking a four 42-inch with and a race line off the back of hanging off the back bumper helps a lot.
SPEAKER_02But I'll get it lined out. It's not like I go wheeling every weekend or something, and it's not a high-speed truck.
SPEAKER_05Right. It's nice though when you want to bomb down a you know, back to camp or something like that, that you're not gonna that first trip.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because that road in and out of badlands is fun to kind of get on.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, if you can get get the Adam was having a good time bombing down it.
SPEAKER_01Well the the road is nothing compared to the dunes when you got something with suspension under it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I'm curious to to try to go back to the dunes because when we were over there for the beat down, I still had everything lined out with mine. And then when we went to you weren't stretched or anything at that point. No, when I stretched and then I redid all the coil, yeah, I played with all the coil settings before we went to Good Evening. I could I could bomb around anywhere. Good evening. We drove it down the hot the road to the gas station, and I could bounce through anything, and it it went bottom out anymore. It wasn't banging off everything.
SPEAKER_02So somebody took a rock in your passenger seat.
SPEAKER_05Well, somebody, yeah, somebody left a rock from Badlands in my passenger seat, and then that that coupled with Court goes, Oh, they just sucked a rollover on that.
SPEAKER_04Rolled over on that.
SPEAKER_05We rolled over on that.
SPEAKER_02That's that's a good rock. So did you did you keep that rock? I think it's like the center council.
SPEAKER_05It might be in the center council yet. I've been waiting to see your you and your rig. I'm gonna throw it somewhere on your rig so you flop over.
SPEAKER_02Okay, I want it back. I figured that rock.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, we'll just start passing around who we want to flop. So overall, I'm happy with it. Totally change the truck.
SPEAKER_02Totally change the truck. It it's doing a lot better. Um still needs a little bit of fine-tuning here and there, but it's it's a lot better than what it was.
SPEAKER_05Anytime I mean, anytime you get the get rid of leaves and go to coils, you're gonna you're gonna gain it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I added a couple leaves in the back, so that seemed like it helped the ride quality. Um the Vance has been around that truck more than anybody, and he said it looks like a totally different truck now. Yeah, just the way it drip way it rides. Good. So I'm happy with it. We'll just have to do a little bit more fine-tuning to it.
SPEAKER_03It worked very well. Very well.
SPEAKER_02I wasn't able to do the high-speed donuts and Tokyo drifting like you did in the dunes, but felt like it was doing all right.
SPEAKER_03That there's a small block right over there with you put in it. I mean, it's sitting under the rack.
SPEAKER_05I don't think he. I I don't think he's got broad enough shoulders to take the the crap we'd all give him if he got rid of the Toyota motor.
SPEAKER_02If I do anything, that sucker's gonna get a turbo and a hood stuck.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna pull a Dave Hanson and go just go dumber.
SPEAKER_01Everything needs boost, but I'm thinking about it. I really am. It's only money, you can't take it with you.
SPEAKER_05We've we've we were playing with a a slightly used turbo yesterday that we could probably send over to you, you could hook put on it.
SPEAKER_01Isn't you know, there.
SPEAKER_04So we're just talking to each other right now. It's not recording.
SPEAKER_05It wasn't recording, it is now, so keep going.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So I just need to remember that the approach angle isn't the approach angle of the buggies. You know, I I have a bumper, it hangs over the front. Um but realistically, it it rides amazing. I just gotta get more seat time because it's weird going from a four-link front and rear rig to where the body just sits level to a rig that's leafsprung in the back to where once you start loading up a leaf spring, it starts rolling the body over. So um it's sort of unsettling.
SPEAKER_02Well, and you're going from a buggy that you can see from every angle versus a full-bodied rig.
unknownYeah, which you can't see shit out of that thing.
SPEAKER_01You've got the seat set so low and everything else, all you see is hood.
SPEAKER_02And watching you what's that spot there by the pond at the Baden? And the waterfalls or whatever. Yeah. People had the ducks on their dash, they were going down the hill and stuff like that. Yeah, going down the obstacle. Yeah. You were crawling up that and you're I wouldn't say you're worried, but you're concerned about the set and everything else. I'm like, Dave, man, uh the truck looks fine.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I just I just couldn't see. I understand that. Like, you can't see what you're doing, but the trunk looked just fine crawling through it, and I I get it. You can't see what what you're hitting or what you're crawling over.
SPEAKER_05So was there a creek nearby?
SPEAKER_02No, there was a pond. There was a pond.
SPEAKER_05So there was water nearby. Okay, because I I've only ever seen Dave get concerned when there's water nearby.
SPEAKER_02He would have a long way to get to that water. Yeah, he would have had to try.
SPEAKER_05I mean, Harlan, there was water, bottom of North Ravine, there was water.
SPEAKER_01So I tend to I didn't roll, I didn't roll on the bottom of North Ravine.
SPEAKER_05No, but there was there was water, and you were very upset.
SPEAKER_01So it was the monsoon. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05It was the monsoon, it was coming down, not under you. It was above you.
SPEAKER_01Somebody decides, oh, I'm pretty cool to have a hood. Yeah, the the engine was pretty upset uh on that one.
SPEAKER_05I actually watched that video just the other day.
SPEAKER_01It looked big on the video. Court posted it up in a little chat, and I don't remember who was like, oh man, that thing sounds like it's low on power. Yeah, no shit. It's an open engine bag. My air filter's sopping wet, and uh my smart plugs are wet too. So it was running on like two cylinders.
SPEAKER_04Two and a half, it was like the the actual YouTube video is where they said it seems like it's low on power.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And that's I just that's that's why I clipped that section and sent it to the group because you know the almighty Toyota was like so just I'll remember that when you're I gotta get my jabs while I can.
SPEAKER_05Ricky, just in case uh I don't know when that kicked out, but just in case, quick recap, you fixed your shocks. Yes, uh way more planked down.
SPEAKER_03A lot more travel, a lot more stable. Uh like to say, I was just absolutely throttling that thing in the dunes and it handled really well.
SPEAKER_05Are you gonna leave the front on the coil springs or are you gonna go to the coilovers up front?
SPEAKER_03It's gonna stay coils for now because uh somebody in this group has planted the seed that they just happen to have a five to one atlas that will fit in that thing and just fall apart.
SPEAKER_05Oh time somebody picks that up.
SPEAKER_03That may be the next one. That rear cage, rear cage. Remember? Oh god. That has nothing to do with how it does on the trail, though, Dustin. I'm an expert with a soldier.
SPEAKER_02I will be over next weekend. Somehow he'll break your windshield.
SPEAKER_05Are we changing the back of the cage?
SPEAKER_03He wants to redo the back of the cage.
SPEAKER_02It's bugging him. I I want to redo the back of the cage and put bedskins on it. Oh, you need some YJ bedskins?
SPEAKER_05No, he doesn't.
SPEAKER_02It it needs bedskins on it.
SPEAKER_03I don't I don't think it needs bedskins for Rick. Yeah, I I I don't I don't think it'll look right with the skins. I I agree that now that the backseat's not there, that we don't need the family style cage, I agree with that, but I I can't get on board with the bedskins either. I just can't.
SPEAKER_05I would just it's wheeling season, Ricky. Leave it alone.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I have to leave it alone. I cannot do nothing to that until that red bun drives out of here. Right.
SPEAKER_05We all you you and I have that same problem. We got too many other products for other people that we need to get done. That if we take a day off of working in the shop, we just gotta go wheeling and we need our rigs just to go.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. But so lifey is getting impatient.
SPEAKER_05Any split that way. Any other parts of the trip that you want to share with everybody?
SPEAKER_01Make sure. Oh, I got one. Make sure you pack enough uh warm sleeping beer. Don't don't trust your buddy. Oh, yeah, I got a buddy heater. It keeps it nice and warm. I just brought my whoobie from uh from the army. It was it was not warm enough when you're basically sleeping in a tent with a hard roof and a hard floor. It's in the air, so it's offering you Kelly's electric blanket. I know the next day.
SPEAKER_02And also from that trip, my plan was to sleep in Vance's camper, and I'm really glad it took Ricky up. He's like, hey, the the spot that's the size of a cell phone is available.
SPEAKER_05So you fit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I fit just fine. I'm like, I'll sleep there because Chase and Vance slept in their camper, in Vance's camper. And what time did you get up to go to the bathroom, Ricky? Like six?
SPEAKER_03I got up just a little after six to go take a shower. And them guys were just going to bed. Yeah, I thought they were getting up. Turns out they were just going to bed after they decided to drink all the beer.
SPEAKER_05I heard about that.
SPEAKER_02And got up the next morning, and Vance is usually up before anybody. He's got breakfast going, coffee going, everything, and lights are on on the camper. I'm kind of looking in there. I'm like, they're they're I think they're dead. I'm looking through the back window, the side window, like nobody's moving. Can't see him breathing. Like, yeah, they're dead. The Walmart CO detector. Let him down. So we finally woke Vance up after what? 20, 30 minutes of sleep. And Chase was in obviously riding the Pastor Sheeta Vance's Jeep.
SPEAKER_05I thought he was bringing his own. I thought he was bringing his Jeep.
SPEAKER_02He sold it. Sold it. Ah Chase does not keep a vehicle longer than I don't know, five days. Um he was sleeping in the Pastor Sheet of Vance's Jeep on the trails.
SPEAKER_03Um because Vance had told us originally he was gonna start cooking breakfast till seven. And he didn't have either forgot his coffee or didn't have his coffee pot or something, so I told him I'd make him a cup of coffee. So after seven, I come walking up, cup of coffee, and knock on his door, nothing. Knock again, nothing. Okay, this is weird.
SPEAKER_05That's not Vance.
SPEAKER_02I mean when he walked out, like dude, you're still fucking drunk, aren't you? He's like, Well, uh, this is good coffee.
SPEAKER_03One cup of coffee turned into two, and then he he was finally ready to start going eating. He was hurting all day though. Oh, they played at lunch. They they they cashed out.
SPEAKER_04That there's no way I could go wheeling after being drunk all night.
SPEAKER_01There is. You can too. You can too.
SPEAKER_04When I was younger, yes.
SPEAKER_03Nowadays 50-year-old Ricky couldn't do it. 30-year-old didn't think no. Now, no, it ain't gonna happen.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. That that weekend, I know we drank quite a bit that Friday night, Ricky, and I was like, I was getting ready to give you shit, and then we got in the camper and just laid down and like out.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, didn't you tell him good night?
SPEAKER_02Like, I didn't even have a chance to give you shit.
SPEAKER_05Well, that's totally different because the last time I was at Badlands with with you guys, all I heard all night was was Dustin talking.
SPEAKER_02Court, good night.
SPEAKER_04About 12 times. And I was I was freezing while we were at Badlands. We were in a camper.
SPEAKER_03There's a couple of things I want to bring up here.
SPEAKER_04In a cabin. In a cabin. Was that Ricky?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, but you shared the room with me, and it was beautiful.
SPEAKER_03We need Dustin's review of the bathroom in my camper because I can't tell it as good as he does. Oh my god, that thing's the size of a fucking beer can.
SPEAKER_01That's actually a pretty big bathroom, too, for a truck bed camper.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I sleep in there and in the bathroom? No, I slept in the camper. I couldn't sleep in the bathroom if I even curled up in fetal position. Like there's not enough room to bend over to pull your pants on in that bathroom. It is so tiny.
SPEAKER_03You remember Tommy Boy changing in the jet? That's probably what it was like with Dustin changing his clothes.
SPEAKER_02I was like, like I can't even bend, like I bent over, my ass is hitting the door, and my head is hitting the fucking other side of the shower. I'm like, this is ridiculous.
SPEAKER_04Does it have a shower and a toilet in it? In like one room.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and the sink's about this big around. Yeah. And then you but it's a dry bathroom.
SPEAKER_01Like so on some of them, because my my camper's got the same floor plan as Ricky's. Some of them you shower over the toilet. Right.
SPEAKER_04That's what I mean. It's a chit chower. A chit chower. It's like a chitter in a shower all in one.
SPEAKER_03This one actually has a separate shower with a curtain.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it's small.
SPEAKER_02But you have more room in a coffin than you do in a shower.
SPEAKER_03But like I told you, you've only got six gallons of hot water, so it's not like you're taking a half-hour long shower in there anyway.
SPEAKER_04No, that's a that's a real quick one.
SPEAKER_03It's wash your stinky parts to get it out.
SPEAKER_02You get a sprinkle of water, you rub some soap on, you get a sprinkle of water, and you're done. Yep. Or camper. For a truck bed camper, it's decent size, but camper places have decent shower houses.
SPEAKER_03Well, they're a little lacking in the hot water department.
SPEAKER_01They got heated floors, but no heated water.
SPEAKER_05They not have the hot like the hot water turned on yet, or I don't know if they have it.
SPEAKER_03It was lukewarm at best. The knob was cold and not as cold. That's all your choice is.
SPEAKER_04That's all you got.
SPEAKER_02I was excited about taking a hot shower at the Badlands, and these guys tell me that it's cold. I'm like, I'll just stay dirty.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know, this makes that shower at home even better.
SPEAKER_05Dude wipes for the win. I would be hard pressed for for if you have a group of guys to not get a cabin. Because they're really nice. You got enough guys to hot showers, plenty of hot water.
SPEAKER_02Well, I was just going over to test my truck out. Vance is the actual one that actually set this trip up.
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah, because like the day he decided to do it, he was on the phone with me, and he's like, and I was like, Yep, I'm in, we're going. And then no.
SPEAKER_02Well, Vance actually called you?
SPEAKER_05Text message.
SPEAKER_02Oh wow. He actually texted me.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I'll get a Snapchat from him every once in a while. Yeah, he wanted to go over there and said, Yeah, fuck it. That'd be a good test for my truck. Then I invited Ricky and uh bald fucker up there in the corner. Um that's me. Then Trey come over.
SPEAKER_05He only invites you because you he looks up to you, Dave.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah. That that's another thing we can touch on. Um I got there first, you know, naturally, because I'm so stinking close. And distance. Yeah. I get there, and originally we had uh reserved what they call the dry camping, which is no hookups, you can run your generators and stuff, blah, blah, blah. I get there and she tells me there's two motorhomes stuck in the dry camping because it was so wet. And they upgraded us to full hookup, just no extra charge. So that's why we were camping where we were.
SPEAKER_02Which was it was it really wasn't as much rain as they had, it wasn't even that wet where we were at. No, it wasn't too bad. But it's a gravel pit, so you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Sure.
SPEAKER_03So then that was nice. We didn't have to mess with the generators. And all that good stuff.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_02And it was nice, nice, easy cruising to the bathrooms, nice, easy in and out of the park.
SPEAKER_01Uh we we were forgetting Ricky, the surprise. Yes, we've got to talk about our surprise guest. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05It wasn't you this time, Dave?
SPEAKER_01No. No.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_01So everybody but Ricky and Vance knew Well, so basically me and Dustin knew I knew uh and you knew, but you weren't coming, so yeah, because he that person messaged you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But uh we were already talking and he asked if we he we were talking about before I said, I wish I could make it, but I was gonna stay and work on somebody's rig.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_05And then we're is that rig done?
SPEAKER_04Oh, we didn't work on the rig.
SPEAKER_05We never worked on it. We'll get to that in a minute.
SPEAKER_01And you should have came over to the back to Dave. Uh, and then I see see a Burgundy Denali pulling in. I'm like, hey Ricky, who's that? And uh it was Adam. So seeing old Uncle Riccio all excited, he could almost he could have almost thrown that football over that mountain over there. He was so excited. Uh but yeah, Adam Adam showed up and was side by side.
SPEAKER_05Adam of of uh OTR or On the Rocks.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_03On the Rocks, yes, maybe one. Comes to my home state and doesn't even tell me. It wasn't I surprised though. It was. It was.
SPEAKER_02And you know, I he bought I don't remember when he bought that side by side, and he sent me videos of it and everything. And it's cool hearing that turbo whistle when you gag on it and let off. And I drove it what the 150 yards.
SPEAKER_05Did you say when you gag on it?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and came back.
SPEAKER_05I'm like, what were you doing?
SPEAKER_02I don't I don't like that. It's really cool the first time you do it. Then after that, it's just like this thing is so flippin' annoying.
SPEAKER_01Try being behind him on the trail.
SPEAKER_02Uh I could hear him when he was behind me on the trail.
SPEAKER_03This why did he not do the serpentines though?
SPEAKER_02I don't know. I that's not that's not Adam though. He's not a yeah, he's not a let's lay into kind of side-by-side guy. He's more of a trail rider.
SPEAKER_05He's a yeah.
SPEAKER_02I really wanted to see him do the serpentines, and I'm kind of glad we got out of there when we did.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because they was fixing the stack up in there. There was getting to be way too many of them in there. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_05Was it getting sand flea-ish?
SPEAKER_03Um it used to be that sign wasn't there that said UTVs only. And I have had my rig in that serpentine and it works tonight.
SPEAKER_02I was really hoping to see that green YJ just ripping through there. I was going to till I seen the sign. I'm like, no.
SPEAKER_05Just tell them you identify as a UTV.
SPEAKER_02There you go. I had the phone out ready to record. I'm like, I don't want to see this sucker. I want to hear that small block just scream through there.
SPEAKER_03But I was gonna do it until I seen the sign. No, I don't want to get everybody kicked out of here. Yeah, that is too many stupid rules. Didn't used to be that way.
SPEAKER_02Nope, didn't used to be that way, but man, I tell you what, the last few times I've been over there.
SPEAKER_05It's getting to be a side-by-side part.
SPEAKER_02It really is. It is. I've got nothing wrong with side-by-sides. It's a side-by-side people. Yeah. That's what I had an issue with.
SPEAKER_01Well, uh and you can't blame Kyle for it either. You know, I mean, he's in the business to make money.
SPEAKER_05No, he's there to make money. He's got a gate, he's got a great business plan. I mean, if I could do it, I I'd be doing it.
SPEAKER_01Do you know if Mission Impossible is still a thing? I think it's an invitation only. Uh, a couple times a year they open it up. I think. It's been a long time since I ran it. I haven't been back there for like 12 years. And uh even then it was grown over and everything was mossy and stuff like that. So but I like that little I I completely forgot about that little ridgeline trail that we ran Saturday afternoon. Um like overlooking the that main access room out to the concrete mall. It's it was a little much for the Tacoma.
SPEAKER_03It was a little bit like uh that used to be the orange trail back in the day. I'm not sure what it is now.
SPEAKER_02But Ricky, there you took us on some stuff I've never seen there before. Which was fun. I mean, yeah. Now, previously when I was on Leaf Springs and Link Steering, it would have sucked. But that hydro steering, it's just like oh yeah, just having a good time, just nice, easy cruises through there.
SPEAKER_05The last fall when we were over there and we were back in the back where you know Court had to pull me over so I could, you know, get fuel to the pickup because I forgot to put fuel on it. Um I had never been back in there, so that's all sorts of hidden, hidden little shit back there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And that that's kind of what we did later in the day, Saturdays. I just took them to the little honey holes that I knew of, and we just kind of jumped around.
SPEAKER_05That's always nice when you got a little bit smaller group that you can go do that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Because when we were at the beatdown and we had the rollover, my plan was to take you next onto that ridgeline trail that Dave's talking about, but didn't work out.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, there's always next time.
SPEAKER_01Yep. But there's I mean, there's all sorts of little hidden gems back over there, back by that that one rock face that Chris was talking about. That that one rock that uh squealed on. Yeah. That I mean that that little area is always fun too. I don't even remember how to get there, I don't think.
SPEAKER_03But we stayed out of the back side of the quarry just because it was so wet. Yeah. We didn't even touch that part of the park, so yeah, the whole massive that entire weekend. We did find out talking around the campfire Friday night that I've been going to the Badlands since Dustin's been in high school, so that that that made me feel old.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah. Ricky, I uh I would have been in high school too. I'm only a couple more months, a couple months older than him.
SPEAKER_02So Ricky, I really can't give you that much shit about being at a much older me because you're only what 10 years older than me. 10 years, yep.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so 1998 was when I first started going there.
SPEAKER_05Oh god, then I had a year high school left. I said I just graduated.
SPEAKER_02All right, well, Ricky, I graduated high school in 2003.
SPEAKER_04That's the that's that's when I started going to school. I didn't know you were that much younger than me, uh Dustin. Yeah. I'm checking 41 than May. I said I got married in 2003. I got married in 2000. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So my daughter was born in 2002.
SPEAKER_05Mine too.
SPEAKER_03My youngest.
SPEAKER_05My oldest. So well, guys, we've we've avoided the subject. We've we've danced around it enough. Should we uh put Court in the spotlight? Put him in the spotlight and let him uh plead his case.
SPEAKER_02What's your got the Mexican burger thing you're building?
SPEAKER_04Court, what do you got going on? So, since the last episode we discussed the YJ build. Uh, since then, an opportunity came in front of me to move into an 08 recovery green JK. So the YJ moved to the mezzanine, and I started stripping the JK over the weekend. So I guess we took the body two weeks ago, we took the body off of it.
SPEAKER_05Well, we'll back up a minute.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you want to back up a minute?
SPEAKER_05So one of our listeners, everybody knows that. I don't know how everybody knows of Ben. Ben Chappelli, who works for Four Four by Innovations. He's the owner's right-hand man. But next door to 4 By Innovations is Um Rip It Toeing, or Rips Toeing, excuse me, Rips Towing, um, which is a buddy of Ben's. And they had this rescue green jeep there that posted it probably a month or two ago.
SPEAKER_04Like two months ago, they had put it and and I've been just like drooling on it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05And I had messaged Ben and I said, Hey. Well, I said it apart.
SPEAKER_04One night I sent it to you, I'm like, hey, I want this.
SPEAKER_05And I had already messaged Ben saying, Hey, what are you doing? What do you want for the frame and the body? Because I had an idea for a project. Just for something to do. And you did another project here. We don't have enough projects. Right. I just we're getting there. So uh Ben says, Well, I'll I'll get I'll talk to to Derek, who owns Rip's Towing, and we'll I'll get back to you. And then Ben was over at the shop bringing some complete off-roads. Rich Rich's other company, Key City Plating, does plating for four-by-invasion. So Ben brought over some parts to get plated, and we were talking, and um I had to come home and tell Court that um hey, uh, I don't want your anxiety to go through the roof here, but what would you think about doing if if you had the opportunity to do a rescue green JK? That's how it started.
SPEAKER_04It goes, hey, what if your project changed directions?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, you're right.
SPEAKER_04That's how I said that's how I was I'd already bought, so like last time we talked about all the parts I was going to order. They're here. I ordered those and they're here. Um, so there's there's a pretty palette, pretty big pile of parts that I I dumped some coin on. And he's like, what if we change the direction of your I said, what if you had the opportunity to change the direction? And I was like, what are you talking about? Like, we just got the plan figured out.
SPEAKER_05And I said, Well, Ben says that the tub and frame of that green Jeep are gonna be our problem. Because they want to see what we'll do with it. And his face went blank. He was like speechless for about 30 seconds.
SPEAKER_04I it took it took me a couple days to make my to kind of decide what I wanted to do, honestly. Because I've I was pretty set on the YJ, the stretched YJ setup and the way I had it planned out. But I've always since those came out, I've wanted that Jeep. Like since 07.
SPEAKER_05And then you had to go to you, you were on the road for a week for work. And I had to I had to do the customary, you know, Dave Hansen empty trailer picture going to work. And there, of course, in the chat everybody's like, oh, what are you going after? You know, what are you picking up? Well, I had a snow drag that we had to I had to get out of the behind completely off-road there, so I took a picture of that. And it was on the front of the trailer, and Ben was the only one who knew that I was coming on over to get the Jeep. Because they already he already had the front axle sold, and I said, Well, can you leave it under there till I get it to our shop? And then we'll take apart, we'll bring the parts back, but at least it's easier to transport. He goes, Yeah, that saves me time. Uh so they had already pulled the motor, training, transfer case out because they had those sold. Well, they had the motor and tranny sold. Um they still have if anybody's looking for a rock trek, uh was that 241 OR or whatever, the Rubicon transfer case. Ben's got one for sale. Uh anyways.
SPEAKER_01Oh, not to cut you off, but those will bolt directly to an AW4. Yes. You just gotta you just gotta mess with your shifter linkage because it shifts backwards. So all you XJ guys they're a great upgrade for an XJ. Well, but you don't have to get a slip yoke eliminator because it's already there.
SPEAKER_05Yep.
SPEAKER_03So they'll bolt up to a 518 also.
SPEAKER_05Yep. They'll bolt up to a lot of different really. Uh so I'm picking, we're loading it up, and Ben's like, so how are we telling Cord about this? Because Cord didn't know that it was a done deal yet. I said, Well, I'll tell you what, I said, as as I'm leaving, when I hit the highway up there, I said, just take a picture. And so that's I didn't even know he had done it because he'd gone back inside. It was cold and windy that night, that evening, and I got home. Um, that was a whole nother you guys already have heard about the whole story of the the Duramax limping home, but uh I get the first thing I saw was a text from court going sneaky sneaky, sneaky sneaky, and I'm like, what are you talking about? I'm still playing it off, not knowing that Ben had put the picture up. So then we got home this weekend. You tore it apart. Well, no.
SPEAKER_04Last weekend we tore. We cleaned it out. That was a it was a disaster. So we cleaned it out. Uh 55 gallon drum worth of cigarette cartons and dirty socks and all sorts of random shit. Uh cleaned that out. Uh founted one here for days. Seven or twenty-eight ducks. I think you're up to twenty-eight ducks. 28 ducks in it.
SPEAKER_05Uh now, two of these were previous owners. The 26 other ones Ben had planted in various spots for Court to find. All over the place. Like there was ducks everywhere. And they're not like the bigger ones, they're like the little tiny ones. Yeah, they're like dime size.
SPEAKER_04Everywhere.
SPEAKER_02So he pulled a Dave and I what we did to Kyle. Yes.
SPEAKER_04Yes. Yeah, there's there's ducks in the gas cap. There's I pulled all the padding off of the roll cage. There's ducks stuffed inside there. I mean, there was ducks.
SPEAKER_05Every time he would find one, I'd be like, Where'd you find it? And he'd be like, Oh, I found it here. I was like, okay, there's still another one. Because I knew where there was one at that I had seen under the hood. Court hadn't looked under the hood yet, and so I just left it there until Court found it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there's well that's like that's like Kyle. We put like a dozen ducks in his airbox. He filled that airbox full. And he didn't find them for like a year and a half until he went to change his air filter.
SPEAKER_02The better part of that unibody and everything. We crammed ducks everywhere in that Jeep.
SPEAKER_05The better part of that was every time he would find one, he'd sit over the trailer and his brother would grab it and put it back somewhere. Hide it again.
SPEAKER_01He was putting them in his bed.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02At home. Yes. At home. At home. But it's Kyle's fault for leaving and going to town and leaving his Jeep unattended.
SPEAKER_05Right. That's a no-no. That seemed weird, though. I ended up with a big inflatable duck in the back of the scout when I went to pick the truck up the next scout up the next day.
SPEAKER_04Well, that the big inflatable duck that was in my yard. Your skeleton duck came from Ben. Came from Ben.
SPEAKER_05Ben has a Ben has a pastime of giving court ducks. But anyways.
SPEAKER_04So then uh over this weekend, we pulled the axles out of it. We pulled the the bumpers and stuff. All of a sudden these go back to those guys we pulled off this weekend. And then I started cutting all the different started stripping another frame, you know, since I didn't.
SPEAKER_05He's getting good at it, so anybody needs a frame strip, call court.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So strip started stripping the the next frame down. So hopefully this weekend I've got at least one day I've got uh obligations. But maybe we'll start putting it back together. You might have got farther, but we ended up on a rescue mission. Yeah, we had some other side side quest quests we had to go on. Yeah, hopefully, hopefully we'll start putting it back together. So I don't feel like I'm too far behind right now. I mean, before I had five foot of jeep frame and that's about it, and now I've got a frame to strip and you don't have the you don't have to paint it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Paint it. We got some floor work to do. Rico, we need you to come up and do patching floors. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04A couple floor patches to do.
SPEAKER_01Oh boy. Do a pole barn garage style, some license plates and self-tappers.
SPEAKER_05He already ordered replacement ones. He's, you know. Jesus. Jeep life.
SPEAKER_04Dude, you can you're not gonna get ducks if you just put license plates in your floor. You gotta do it upright.
SPEAKER_03Seam sealer can cover a lot. That's all I'm gonna say. You've seen my video.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna seam sealer.
SPEAKER_03Put it in there, put it in there.
SPEAKER_04And then I'm gonna do bedliner or something. I'm gonna spray a bunch of shit on it. So it should be covered up. The overall plan has not changed. No, plan's not. I mean, everything's that I bought is still gonna get used.
SPEAKER_05Super duties, four-link front and rear, LS drivetrain. The only thing you're not using is the the YJ tub, the what brand the rust not rusty, what's the the side, motobilt sides? Motorbuilt sides and the what's the frame pieces?
SPEAKER_04The two by four stuff I bought. Yeah. And then the naves customs unlimited. Yep.
SPEAKER_05Some of that will live on in the future. Because uh part of this was I told Court I would I would buy those parts not the motorbuilt sides, we don't know what we're doing with those yet. So if somebody needs some motor built uncut sides, there's no wheel wells or nothing in them for a YJ, there's gonna be YJ TJ.
SPEAKER_04YJ, CJ, YJ, or TJ, I think they said they fit. I would give you a deal on them.
SPEAKER_03We might do some business on those.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I would give you a deal. Oh, that would work for bed, yeah. Then you're gonna give in to Dustin and do bed sides.
SPEAKER_03I want to build a TJ later on down the road.
SPEAKER_05Yep. Well, my plan is I'm going to take you've got to get my square body done first.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's yours now.
SPEAKER_05I think you I think there's a lot of people ahead of you in line for that one there, Dustin.
SPEAKER_03Well, you know, I I may die before you, and you can buy it for what Kelly thinks I got in it. You'll get a hell of a deal.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_03About a thousand bucks.
SPEAKER_05I'll take no I'll tell Kelly what's really in it when you're gone. That way she gets a you know.
SPEAKER_03There you go. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05She gets enough to live on to retire on. So I'm gonna take the the YJ parts and we're gonna mill we're gonna build a YJ T.
SPEAKER_04Those are only for YJ.
SPEAKER_05They'll work on a TJ. They're uncut. It'll work. They're uncut.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, if you uncut them, they're side panels, you can put them on. But they're the 15-inch stretch ones. Yep. So they're the 15-inch stretch ones.
SPEAKER_05You can do it on limited. Yes. Have more room. Dustin would almost be able to sleep in the back of unlimited.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I can sleep in the back of my super duty.
SPEAKER_05I can sleep in the backseat of a crew cab Chevy. I've done it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you're like a half inch shorter than me.
SPEAKER_05We're the same height.
SPEAKER_01I had Ricky convinced that I was sleeping in the backseat of the mega cab.
SPEAKER_05There's probably enough room in there. Those things are big.
SPEAKER_01They are. Yeah, but I'm also 6'4, Chris. You can sleep in it comfortably.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that'd be a tight squeeze.
SPEAKER_05I didn't say it would be comfortable, but I said there'd be big.
SPEAKER_01It's weird. Every time I go to Harlan, I end up sleeping on a fucking futon.
SPEAKER_05That is not my fault.
SPEAKER_01I know it's not.
SPEAKER_05We're not gonna go there.
SPEAKER_02I know it's well it's like this last trip to Batlands. I'm like, I don't know. Ricky wants me to sleep in his camper. I don't know if I can I don't know if he's gonna like physically touch me or something. But I laid down there and 30 degrees. I'm like, this is nice. And then what was it? Saturday I wake up. He's sitting there eating a breakfast sandwich, staring at me. I was not staring at you. Gotta wake up and like, what's up, bud? He's like, Oh, not much.
SPEAKER_05You got a pretty mouth.
SPEAKER_03You were sleeping on the table. I didn't have much choice.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you had a you had a step stool to sit on, and you sit there and eat your sandwich, you'd be like, Well, I guess uh this drunk idiot's gonna wake up eventually.
SPEAKER_05Well, I know we have some things that we aren't gonna talk about here that are Patreon material. And between the three time three different recordings to patch together here, I think we got about an hour. Anything else we want to talk about before we kick it over to Patreon?
SPEAKER_03I think we needed to give you the floor and you can talk about core for a little bit.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, we know the dates.
SPEAKER_03See if we can drive drive up some.
SPEAKER_05So um I can't even think of the top of my head what the date. First weekend of October, core. Uh, if anybody listen to this needs, I think I've got like three applications so far. Gotta get those in so we can get our lucky 13 and then do the social media vote like we did years past. I'll pull it up and find out what the dates are. The cutoff date.
SPEAKER_02I think it's I've not sent my application in yet.
SPEAKER_05You don't you don't get to send one in.
SPEAKER_02Oh, let's just let the cat out of the back there, Mr.
SPEAKER_05Everybody knows who nobody ever wonders who the cronies are.
SPEAKER_03We we already talked about that email. Remember, you tried to pull that ship and wait that at a couple. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_02I talked to Chris on the way over to Badlands and said, Don't say anything to Ricky.
SPEAKER_05And as soon as I till the email comes out.
SPEAKER_02I got an email from about that one.
SPEAKER_05Well, that's why I knew you would be under pressure, so I like I'm a well just we'll let that out. So yes. Ricky, Dustin, Dave, Court, Geyer, and Chad are the the cronies, as is better known. We can't use that other term because it's it's it's been uh we'll talk about it on Patreon. It's been an issue, it's been an issue at the shop, so okay. I'll tell you off-air.
SPEAKER_03You played that pretty good though. You you you knocked the wind out of my cells, I'm not gonna lie. When we talked about it and you're like, well, you're gonna have to reapply. You gotta be shitting me. You're gonna have to buy some tires, Rick.
SPEAKER_04Now I coil over resistance. So by August 1st, Augustations are required to be in. Um if you want the link, you can go to complete off-road, click on the link, and then you'll get the review on pick 13.
SPEAKER_05We're gonna start, and we're gonna there's gonna be uh more of a social media push here now that we're kind of into the you know, it's mid-April wheeling season. We'll start pushing a little bit more on it in some more ideas. We're back at complete off-road ranch, just like years one and one and two and three. Yeah. Um, so can we camp at the bottom of the hill?
SPEAKER_02Because I really don't like that driveway.
SPEAKER_05Oh, you big baby. You can camp wherever you want. You've never you've never hauled your own stuff to there to the ranch.
SPEAKER_02Alright, here we go.
SPEAKER_05Either ranch.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he did.
SPEAKER_04I'm hopefully gonna pull my Jeep up the up the hill with my tundra.
SPEAKER_03Core 24, he hauled the toyota up there. No, he didn't.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah. 24 he did, you're right, cuz because Dave couldn't make it. Yep.
SPEAKER_02That you hold my shit in the first core, Vance hold my shit. And then it was Dave, when you hold my shit, we made it down to the bottom of the hill without the gooseneck hooked up.
SPEAKER_04That could have been real bad real fast.
SPEAKER_02That was enough weight, there was enough weight all that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that pen, it was coming off that pen, so but we get down to the highway, he's like, Did you hook the trailer up?
SPEAKER_02I'm like, No, did you? He's like, No, that's your job. Oh shit. Like, no, it's not my job.
SPEAKER_05Wait, the passengers have the passengers have responsibilities? No. Passenger apprentices don't have responsibilities. I'll tell you this, just in case you don't want Court and Cody being your co being your navigators through Louisville.
SPEAKER_04I was sleeping.
SPEAKER_05You'll end up at the airport. At the drop off with a with a 36-foot gooseneck and two rigs. I was sleeping. That's not my fault.
SPEAKER_02Um, when we were when we were headed to Harlan last time when we all went, Ricky uh had Vance and Otter in the truck. We're just cruising, hit indie, talking, bullshitting. Next thing I know, we're pulling into the fucking terminal for Indianapolis International Airport. Oh. I'm like, what are we doing?
SPEAKER_03Wrong lane. Yep, exactly what lane is. I know I know exactly what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_02And we're we went through the terminal like the drop off with my super duty and a gooseneck trailer with two rigs on it.
SPEAKER_05I bet that really got people looking. Uh you know what? Let's circle back here. Um, I guess he he's a crony, but he's also a host. Um, Cody is taking care of day one. I don't know where we're gonna be. I don't know what we're gonna do. I know where we'd like to go, but it is too far between the complete off-road ranch and that property to go. But that date, I will get to you guys. You guys should come over for that weekend for a stump jumper run at that property.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_05I am told that it is um a lot like it's it's kind of somewhere between Good Evening Ranch and Rich's place, the complete off-road ranch.
SPEAKER_02Nice. So I will grab the truck and trailer and snug up Dave's buggy and we'll come.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that bring it that'll bring the bouncer too. I want to drive the bouncer.
SPEAKER_01You're not driving any of my shit.
SPEAKER_04You're gonna have your own drive.
SPEAKER_02I get to drive the bouncer before you do.
SPEAKER_04I drive like Miss Daisy.
SPEAKER_02No, you don't.
SPEAKER_04You drive like Helen Keller. You don't do that.
SPEAKER_03You cower up when somebody says hop in and take it for a drive. Exactly.
SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna break someone else's stuff. Don't want to break someone else's stuff.
SPEAKER_02When it's his own rigging, somebody says send it. He says, get the fuck out of the way. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05He says he's gonna be trying to be a little more of a finesse driver with this one, but we'll see.
SPEAKER_01He's gonna need to be because he's gonna get himself in a lot of trouble if he doesn't. Oh, yeah. He'll figure out or be okay with body damage.
SPEAKER_05I he's okay with body damage. We already know it is what it is.
SPEAKER_04It's rusty anyway.
SPEAKER_05Rusty anyway. The only thing he's gonna worry about is if he cracks his angry girl, angry eye girls.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't want to crack my angry eye girl or knock my ducks off the dash. I'm gonna do them on.
SPEAKER_03You're putting square headlights in it.
SPEAKER_05Well, that cat's out of the back.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna take my hammer that's in my toolbox and smack it.
SPEAKER_05Man, the angry grills look so tough. I told him that we I told him that we were gonna make sure he retained his square headlight mafia status.
SPEAKER_04So I think I'm gonna take the fenders and stuff, front fenders off of it and do tubes.
SPEAKER_05We were we were already holding the this the YJ grill up there and kind of thinking where we gotta cut it and do some massaging to it.
SPEAKER_01So it might end up being like a eight or a nine-slot grill, but I bet you could do it.
SPEAKER_05Uh actually, we can slice it. We know we're able to slice it so that it stays a seven-slot grill.
SPEAKER_00Really?
SPEAKER_05Yeah. It's gonna take it's it's gonna take some work. I'm gonna have a few nights in it, but it'll be worth it.
SPEAKER_03Well, Jen Rai makes a seven-slot YJ style grill for a buggy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You could probably well. This is coming from a guy that put a uh YJ front end on the Comanche truck.
SPEAKER_05So I think hey, just be glad that he uh that I got a YJ tub to build. No, it was it was there might have been a Toyota with a YJ hook grill on it. When you still have a Toyota, Dave, the look on Dave's face.
SPEAKER_03When he put the short out with the JK body, he almost woke up with a horse head next to him. I mean getting close. Threatened to kick him out of the mouth.
SPEAKER_05He did. He's like, what are you doing? Ricky was like, Ricky, you were the only one to catch on to that.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, I'm I'm Dave will side with me on this one. Yeah. I know Dave will side with me on this one. Court. We're disappointed in you. Exactly. We're we're disappointed in you. We understand where you're coming from, but we're disappointed.
SPEAKER_04It's it's all good. I I'm good at disappointing people. I've been doing it my whole life.
SPEAKER_02I have a I have a toilet or that you can have.
SPEAKER_04I'm not switching plans again. It's too late.
SPEAKER_02I was from it's not solid. From day one, though. Except for all the places that it's not. Yeah, it's mid-glass solid. I have solid, it's just not solid.
SPEAKER_05I keep telling him, hey, should we run it? Should we run over to Dave's and pick up that that mountaineer drivetrain that run a Ford drive train?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_05And he keeps talking himself out of it.
SPEAKER_02So it'd be a lot cooler if he did. Yeah, that sounds so cool.
SPEAKER_04You guys, you're killing me.
SPEAKER_02It would sound so cool if I had a Toyota four-cylinder in it.
SPEAKER_01I called Court and told him after him talking about that 3RZ, that needs to go in a Jeep.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, looked up, it sold. That was the whole it was the motor, transmission, transfer case, and the whole watering harness for like 30,500 bucks. It was a really good deal. I mean, it was a great deal. We talked about that either the YJT or the the uh because that'd be the ultimate thing to just piss people off. That would be awesome, didn't you? Because you pissed the Jeep people off and the Toyota people off at the same time. But all all the purest ones.
SPEAKER_05It would be great to go to it would be great to go to the Jeep Purist. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's the purest Jeep people that are putting bad toys on fucking automobiles.
SPEAKER_05It'd be fun to go like McGrath Jeep Knight or something like that and open the hood, there's Toyota over the hood. Bang old Toyota logo right on it. So well, let's kick this over to the Patreon.
unknownAlrighty.
SPEAKER_05Everybody, get some applications in. It's not that intimidating thing to come to core. It's a blast. It's fun. And uh Ricky, did you get your video done?
SPEAKER_03No, I've been uh floating Matt Sunday. Oh, that's right. All right, we've been playing Hug Finn.
SPEAKER_05Yep, that's right. You were you're floating on the river, so but Ricky Ed and Dave, Dustin, you guys are gonna be up to do this too. Um just a short about your experience at complete off-road experience that we can put out there so that people will understand that this is not some big intimidating thing.
SPEAKER_02It's not it's as extreme as you want it to be. That's a video that you want me to make, and your wife is still requiring me to make a video I completely forgot about.
SPEAKER_05And uh, you asked to do the other one.
SPEAKER_02Uh I know, and I completely forgot about it. That's fine. Whenever we get to it. Tell my girlfriend I said sorry. So uh, but yes, I will get that done this hopefully this weekend, and get them both sent off to you.
SPEAKER_05Whenever you get them done.
SPEAKER_02So I'll I'll I'll eventually get it done.
SPEAKER_05I'll be I'll I get so much I get stuff in the shop.
SPEAKER_02I'm just out in the shop, so you got so much going on, your wife's got so much going on. I mean, everybody, all five of us have got so much shit. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_05How long did it take us to try to get together to do this? But we are um are any of the other two showing up?
SPEAKER_04I we told them nine, so we've got three minutes.
SPEAKER_05We'll start early.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's almost my bedtime and it's past rich.
SPEAKER_05What time zone are you in right now, Dustin?
SPEAKER_02I am in Lincoln, Nebraska right now.
SPEAKER_05So you're still you're you're in Central.
SPEAKER_02But I'm an old soul, so I go to bed early.
SPEAKER_05We all do anymore. All right, we're gonna kick this out. Everybody, get your applications in. Uh, let us know what you want us to talk about in the next one. Or if you're going wheeling somewhere and want us to come along, reach out, let us know, and we'll say we're gonna make it, then we may or may not make it. Catch you next time.
SPEAKER_01I got one, I got one thing. Dave, um you guys made it this far. So let's keep posting some stuff on the Facebook page. We haven't been very good about it. But if you're spamming us with your page shit and just reposting it, and you continue to do it, I've already deleted some five posts.
SPEAKER_05You're getting blocked.
SPEAKER_01I'm going to kick you out of the group.
SPEAKER_05100%.
SPEAKER_04That's a trail hated Facebook page.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, don't if you want to post a shit, cool. That's fine. I don't care. But don't send a link to speed hole or whatever the hell it is. Make your own post.
SPEAKER_05Like it's it's it's an invite group.
SPEAKER_01I like that there's traffic on there, but when there's one person reposting shit from their own page, it it's not what it's designed for. So we'll we'll just leave it at that. You've been warned. So Dave's an asshole.
SPEAKER_05With that, we'll see you next time. We're not sure what it is, but there will be a next time. Oh yeah, it's not gonna play that. Just think about the music here. It's playing.
